In general, there are two types of workers' compensation benefits:
Medical benefits are designed to cover your medical treatment and expenses. There is no co-pay and no deductible for treatment received — the insurer pays for everything. The treatment received must be reasonable, necessary, related to the work injury, and designed to bring about a cure.
While these types of benefits do cover much of your medical treatment, they do not cover "feel good" treatments such as therapeutic massage that are often essential in getting you back to 100%.
If you have further questions about workers' compensation benefits, or if you need help with a workers' comp claim, contact us today.
We offer a free initial consultation to all prospective clients. In addition, we handle all of our work on a contingency basis — you pay no attorney's fees unless we recover for you.
